To provide comprehensive and compassionate HungerCare whenever and wherever needed to safeguard the health, well-being and productivity of food-insecure Kansas families and their children, as well as senior citizens, the homeless and the chronically ill and impoverished among us.

A community service ministry of Central Christian Church to help those living in the Wichita and Sedgwick County areas who are facing insufferable hardships, such as victims of natural disasters, families living below the poverty lines, or those families considered to be "at risk".

Family Promise of Greater Wichita is part of a national program that responds to the growing need to provide shelter, meals and comprehensive support services to families without homes. The program unites area faith communities and groups to assist homeless families.

Youth Horizons empowers children and their families to become healthy and productive members of our community. They create nationwide awareness of the needs of at-risk youth. They accomplish their mission by matching children with Christian mentors and providing a safe and structured home environment for boys in their residential program.

The Kansas Humane Society is Wichita's largest privately-funded, non-profit animal shelter organization: featuring pets for adoption, dog training classes, spay/neuter services, humane education, programs for kids, volunteer and foster opportunities, and a variety of fundraising programs.
